Every oil spec, capacity and drain interval on this site comes from the engine maker's own literature or AMSOIL's published data sheets, and each page lists its sources. When the sources disagree, we say so instead of picking a number.
- Engine specs come from OEM operator manuals, service bulletins and spec sheets
- AMSOIL product claims come only from AMSOIL labels, amsoil.com, amsoil.ca and AMSOIL data sheets
- We write "meets the requirements of" for AMSOIL products, not "approved", unless the engine maker says otherwise
- Pages are reviewed and dated; each one shows when it was last checked
